Stay @ Submarine Garden Beach Resort

It is hard to find a resort in Batangas which is affordable on a peak season, Luckily found this resort a week before the Holy Week when we decided to book for an accommodation preferably has a beach and swimming pool for Black Saturday to Easter Sunday before going to Monte Maria Shrine. 

Booking/Reservation

I got prompt response thru their FB page. Ms.Estrella sent me the details as well as the menu for the Holy week season.

We had a deadline when to reserve as we are on pencil booked only, in case we decided not to push through they can give the slot to others.

Reservation is thru bank deposit.

Resort

Going to the resort is quite challenging as it is located on a secluded area but the signs are very helpful not to get lost, the manager Ms.Estrella and the owner Ms.Linggit Tan were very accommodating from Day 1 until the time we checked out.

Standard Room

We booked 2 Standard Rooms good for 4-5 pax(Suite rooms are fully booked) for 3 Families (11 adults & 1 kid) for 3500/room per night extra matress is 550. 

Beach Front

Good ambience, very serene, fresh air and clear sea water.

The beach front is rocky, but as per the owner from august to october the beach has more sand than rocks, so it's a seasonal change. (We went here March 31 to April 1)

The place is good for snorkeling and the part of the beach that is good for swimming is near the hill on the other side of the big rocks.

You will enjoy the fresh cold air and the pool water is not that very cold.

Uphill with relatives

We went up to the hill which is I think 100+ steps, then you can see the 360 degrees view of Lobo and nearby barangays.

Restaurant

You are allowed to bring light meals, bread, baby food and chips only but for heavy meals we dine in at the resort(Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch). The food(Lutong Bahay like shanghai, cardelereta, adobo, tinola... etc) are delicious and affordable.

I had weak signal on my mobile phone using sun sim, but my Tito had data connection using his TM sim.

Family Bonding

Overall, we had a nice and unforgettable experience , more on family bonding (we don't have TV and wifi) , more relaxation on breathtaking views, clear water and fresh air.
